First, who is Alan Phillips, JD?

In 2016 Alan had considered and subsequently declined consulting on a California legal matter. After which a retaliatory complaint was filed against him with the North Carolina State Bar.

While the NC Bar found no “probable cause to justify imposing discipline and dismissed the grievance”, yet they still issued Alan a letter of warning.

After filing a complaint regarding the letter of warning, the NC Bar filed a retaliatory lawsuit against Alan for his client files. Alan remains in a legal battle with the Bar, and has gone to jail multiple times for refusing to reveal his client’s privileged information.

Who are we?

Our group’s focus is one issue: Attorney-Client Privilege. We demand that our privacy be honored as the law requires.

Our position in the lawsuit is that the NC State Bar lacks appropriate grounds to violate our privacy rights, the attorney-client privilege, and that the court should deny the Bar’s request for an order that Phillips hand over our confidential attorney-client information.
